A BIM Execution Plan (BEP) contains the necessary details of the project along with the scope of work. BEP defines the roles and responsibilities of all the stakeholders involved in the project. A BEP states software and hardware requirements, details of Cloud Data Environment, workflows, reviewing and approvals process, Model standards, Clash detection process, and QA/QC process. A BEP has a detailed list of BIM Models to define the scope of work. The whole procedure is broken down into multiple tasks or activities under function-specific sections. These tasks are scheduled in a tabular form with a planned duration allotted to execute the task with float value (permissible delay) assigned to it. The estimated start date and finish date are assigned to each task, with the latest start date and latest finish date considering the floats. The milestones set by mutual agreement between different stakeholders are also marked in the schedule.
